First Ever “Official” DOL Disability Unemployment Stats Available

Check it out: The first ever “official” DOL unemployment rate for people with disabilities will be released on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 8:30. This data is the result of the US Census’ monthly Current Population Survey (CPS) which collected the labor force data for people with a disability on behalf of the US Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP).    Look for the data at http://www.bls.gov/cps/home.htm#notices on Friday morning.
